The comments section for each expense and report allows a 2-way interaction between the approver and the spender. If there are any questions about an expense, use the comments section to ask for clarifications. When comments are added to an expense or expense report, the speder is notified via email.
You can add comments to all expenses once they've been submitted. Similarly, comments can be added to all expense reports in the Submitted and Approved states. Any expenses and reports in the Incomplete or Draft state are not open to comments unless submitted for approval.
Note: Comments on all expenses and reports are visible to Admins and the Owner of your organization.
Add comments to an expense
Open the expense report, select the expense using the checkbox and select Add comment.
Type your comment in the pop-up box and click on Add comment.
To view the comment select the expense and open the Comments tab.
Note: Once comments are entered, no edits can be made to the comment. Comments cannot be deleted once entered.

Open the expense report and click on the Comments tab.
You can enter the comment and select the arrow to send it across.
Once the comment is sent, it will be recorded in the report. Spender will be notified of the comment and can respond to you via the Comments section.
