Send back reports submitted for approval

Admins have access to all submitted expense reports. If there are any discrepancies in the expense details, you can send the expense report back to the spender for rectification. Spenders can make changes and re-submit the report for approval.

To send back an expense report, select the Expense reports page from your left side panel. Select the report from the Submitted or Approved sections.

Note: Expense reports in the Closed section cannot be sent back to Spenders.

Open the report and select the three-dots icon in the top right corner.

Select Send Back from the drop-down.

In the pop-up box mention the reason for sending the report back. The spenders can view it and make changes accordingly.

Select Send back to proceed.

The report will be sent back to the spender and they will be notified. The status of the expense report will change to Sent Back, and the reason will be listed under the Comments section of the report.

Spenders can view the comments, make relevant changes and resubmit the expense report for approval.
