As an admin, you can send reminders to your users for any assigned pending tasks. While all of these reminders can be automated, you can manually trigger a reminder from your Tasks dashboard.
There are various types of reminders you will come across in this section based on your account configuration.
Unverified employees: For spenders who have not yet verified their account.
Incomplete expenses: For spenders that have incomplete expenses in their account.
Unreported expenses: For spenders that have expenses to be added to reports for submission.
Unapproved expense reports: For approvers to approve the pending expense reports submitted by spenders.
Sending manual reminders
To send out the reminder manually, hover over the reminder and select Remind.
This will open a pop-up box where the spenders who qualify to receive the reminder are selected by default and an auto-generated reminder message is filled in.
You can customize the list of spenders selected and select the edit icon.
Use the checkboxes to select or deselect spenders and select Save to proceed.
Once you have customized the reminder, select Send reminder to proceed.
The reminders will be sent out to the spenders via email.
Note: You can trigger a manual reminder for an action once every day. To send multiple reminders of the same type—e.g., incomplete expenses or unverified employees—you will need to wait 24 hours after sending the first reminder.
