When expenses are exported from Expense Management to Sage Intacct, a standard set of fields are passed to each transaction’s memo field.
The standard fields exported to the memo field are:
Merchant/vendor name
Employee’s email
Expense category
Report number
Purpose
Date of spend
Reference link to the expense (URL)
You can customize the exported memo field data by managing your integration in Expense Management.
To manage memo field data, follow these steps in Expense Management:
Go to the Accounting integration page from the left side panel.
Go to Configuration, then select Advanced settings.
Scroll down to Customization and choose the details required in the memo field.
Go to the Customization section. Use the dropdown to choose the details you’d like to include in Sage Intacct’s memo field.
Select Save to finish.
